Tim Simmerman
Tim is the president of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, the world's largest,
non-profit and most esteemed
hypnotherapy certification board. He is an approved Hypnotherapy
Instructor and Executive Director of the Academy. As a former nationally registered paramedic,
he contributed to the reprint of Hypnosis, a tool for nurses. His book,

Susan Jacques
Susan is the Academy's Admissions Coordinator, a practical skills coach, and an Associate Instructor in training. She is a 30 year veteran of personal and spiritual exploration. A certified Breathworker, a Reiki practitioner, as well as a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. She has a degrees in Business Administration and Applied Science for Physical Therapy. Susan is committed to supporting people in having a profound experience of their true nature and releasing limiting beliefs.

Patrick Singleton
Patrick is an Associate Instructor, Clinical Hypnotherapist and certified practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). NLP is essentially a set of language patterns and processes developed from the study of human excellence. He also specializes in the Core Transformation process which changes old limitations into new resources as well as strengthens your connection to Infinite Intelligence.

Robert Sapien, MD, CHt
Robert has been in Pediatric Emergency Medicine for 19 years and is Director of
Emergency Pediatric Medicine at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque,
New Mexico. He is recognized as a national expert in emergency asthma care and
school emergencies. After training at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America in
clinical hypnotherapy, he incorporated hypnosis in the care of children in the
Pediatric Emergency Department. He serves on the Board of Directors for the
International Registry of Medical Support Hypnotherapists and also has an
active hypnotherapy practice, which specializes in medical hypnotherapy referral
and consultation.

Ane Weed
Ane is an associate hypnotherapy instructor, practical skills coach and practicing
hypnotherapist/psychotherapist. She has an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy, is
a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New Mexico, and graduate of the Academy's
Clinical Hypnotherapy program. Ane integrates her experience as a counselor and
hypnotherapist to teach the scope of practice and ethics sections with insight,
originality and heart.

Mitch Friedman
Mitch is a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with a private practice in Santa Fe. He is a practical skills
coach and is the Intern Supervisor. He has been a Creative Life Coach since 1995. His emphasis is on supporting
new hypnotherapy students in understanding how their thoughts have a direct relationship to their life experience,
and how they can accelerate healing and create positive change.

Barbara Gordon
Barbara is the Academy's Administrative Assistant, and when you call us she'll probably be the first person you'll speak with.
She is also a graduate, Clinical Hypnotherapist and practical skills coach. Barbara is a spiritual counselor with extensive
background studies in the medicine way of Native American indigenous wisdom. Her greatest joy is bridging ancient knowledge
and modern science and philosophy in a way that enhances personal growth, inspires conscious evolution and helps people align
with their soul's purpose.

Brandelyn Jokiel
Brandelyn is an Associate Hypnotherapy Instructor, Practical Skills
Coach and practicing hypnotherapist. She has a B.A. in Production
and Operations Business Management from the University of New Mexico.
She is a graduate of the Academy's Clinical Hypnotherapy program as
well as Patrick Singleton’s Creative Neuro-Linguistic Program, and
also works with childbirth preparation as a Hypno-Beginning Certified
hypnotherapist. Brandelyn also works nationally as the Wellness
Coordinator for severely injured warriors returning from conflicts
in Afghanistan and Iraq. She enjoys employing all of the hypnotherapy
and NLP techniques taught at the Academy to assist her clients in
accelerating healing and reaching their goals.
