Teenager with Brain Cancer Helped by Academy Grad
A Texas teenager who just started his senior year was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.
The cancer was so severe that the physician gave the boy and his family two options.
The first was to quit school, put his affairs in order and try to enjoy the last few months of his life.
The second was to try radiation and chemotherapy, deal with the side effects, with no guarantee of a recovery.
Fortunately, Hypnotherapy Academy graduate, Marianne Garcia, is also a teacher at his high school,
and he chose to do the chemotherapy and radiation, in conjunction with clinical hypnotherapy.
Using special techniques taught at the Academy, Marianne showed the boy how to enhance the
effects of the medical treatment, and stimulate his immune system to clean his body of the sick cells.
At the time, everyone was elated that he was able to attend his senior prom and walk across the stage
at graduation to receive his diploma. Now it has been a year and a half and we have even better news.
Marianne recently reported to us that in a tearful reunion with the boyís mother she found out that
now he is attending college and the cancer is totally gone!
Another Hospital Hires Academy Graduate!
Academy Graduate, Alena Guest has just been hired by a California hospital as their staff hypnotherapist!
The hospital administrators have been so impressed with the Accelerated Healing and Pain Control techniques
that Alena learned here at the Academy that they have been working together to create this position for her.
Her function will be to provide medical hypnosis as an adjunct to the hospitalís patient population.
Congratulations to Alena! She has been doing such great work in her private practice and her community at
large that weíre not surprised that she has been offered this position.
Alena said, ďThis didnít happen because Iím the only hypnotherapist in town. There are plenty of others.
I got the job because my training at the Hypnotherapy Academy was head and shoulders above the rest.Ē

...60 Sessions In My First 4 Months
ďI opened my practice in February and I didnít realize how popular hypnotherapy would beÖ but now itís just mid April and Iíve already done almost 60 client sessions! Iíve been helping people with so many different issues. For instance, anger issues transformed into forgiveness, relationship issues have been healed, Iíve even helped sales people do better in their work. One client is seeing me for medical support hypnosis and without chemotherapy and radiation has shrunk a tumor by 62%! Her physician is very pleased with whatís happening for her.
ďDuring the hypnotherapy training I was experiencing so much personal healing that I had decided that if I never made any money doing sessions after graduating it was ok, because I had already received so much. Now Iím so thankful for the breadth and depth of the Academyís course because I feel so ready to help so many with all their issues.
Itís a real blessing to do this work.Ē

10 Paying Clients His First Week
ďLike many people, I was concerned that it would take a lot of time before I could start earning a living as a hypnotherapist. I graduated the week before Thanksgiving, and decided to take that week off to be with family. The following Monday, I sent an email to all my friends, made some phone calls and set up a Facebook page, letting them know that I would soon be opening my hypnotherapy practice.
Little did I know just how much people want hypnotherapy and how quickly they would start asking for sessions. I donít even have my office yet, but Iíve had so many requests for sessions that Iíve been making house calls and had to turn a spare room in my house into a temporary office.
I have already had ten paying clients this week. I have helped them with insomnia, relationship issues, weight loss, smoking cessation and public speaking. My clients include professionals ranging from a commercial real estate broker, a registered nurse, to a physician.
I would definitely say that hypnotherapy has hit the mainstream, and everyone wants sessions. Iím proud that they have all booked follow up sessions with me, and they are already referring friends and family.
Today, I received a request from a fireman at the local station house, because the annual captain exams are coming up. He and some of his buddies want me to teach a self-hypnosis class for improving memory and clearing test anxiety.
I am so grateful to Tim, Angela and the staff for preparing all of us to truly help people.
The training at the Hypnotherapy Academy is so thorough that I feel completely confident in working with people on these different issues and goals.Ē
